Vestal Bakery & Deli: Your Go-To Spot for Pizza, Subs, and More!

Love the food. The staff is so friendly. Prices fair. Only complaint is the air conditioner. Only on 74 every time I go in there on hot humid nights. The workers are sweating and it's uncomfortable for us customers. If there is a normal a.c unit, then it should be on at least 70. Cool enough for everyone to work. In the kitchen and etc. Also love the sub specials every week. They have delicious subs.

Never been before today, and it's amazing! Everything is made fresh for you. Counter people are friendly and prompt. Food is hot. Nice variety of drinks, chips, dessert and meals.

The staff are kind and friendly, the subs are great, and the location is characteristically rustic. This place has a special meaning for me, even though I was not here that often decades ago - I went to high school right next door to here, Vestal Senior High School. '97

Best meatball subs I've ever had. Excellent cooked pasta sauce in quart containers. Very good chocolate chip cookies, brownies, and cannolis, but the other sweets are meh. Subs are okay but unusually limited options of ingredients. Pizza is good for the area, better than any of the chains, but not the best.

I have loved this place for years. Nothing fancy here, just good food. The pizza is my main draw. It's delicious cold! The city chicken is good. It's breaded, fried chicken breast cubes in a skewer... a good quick lunch. Enen though the bakery is about an hour from my house, it's a must go to at least once a month to stock up!

I've been coming here for about 30 years and I feel like honestly the flavor has not changed in my memory, which is good because I really like the taste of their pizza. Besides the pizza my favorite items are the subs and their half moon cookies. They have a whole bunch of different types of chips and an ice cream cooler as well. The people here are very friendly and make your order very quickly. And it's very inexpensive to eat here. Not a bad place to grab a few cheap slices and a drink and sit and read a book for a little while, it's right next to the Vestal library.

The gluten free pizza crust is better than the standard pre-made gf crust. It’s nice to have something different than the same crust everyone else uses. It seemed to have more substance to it than most, and tasted fresher. I didn’t ask what they use and if they make it in house, I think I tasted some cauliflower. I first tried this gf pizza when someone else bought it for me and I had to come back and have it again. I ordered Chicken Spiedie with Mushrooms. Toppings made it extra pricey, but that seems to be the day and age we live in. 50$ for two pizza’s, a more expensive meal when my husband and I each have to get our own. He says his was “a good solid pizza.”

"Yummy and cheap" was my initial review... since then, I have had their raspberry turnover... it's flaky and light, lots of filling and probably the best I have had in my life!! I wish I lived closer, as I would eat here every day if I could! The chocolate chip cookie was soft and delectable... pizza was tasty... and again, all super affordable!! I came back while I was still in the area for more, I just couldn't help myself!
